Editorial Standards
We publish health, legal, and business content that people use to make real decisions — choosing a clinic, understanding a penalty, or applying for a license. That responsibility shapes every part of our process. This page explains exactly how we produce and maintain what you read on this site.
Source Methodology
Primary Sources
We build every article from primary source material first, then supplement with secondary sources where needed. Our source hierarchy:
- Thai Government publications — Royal Gazette announcements (ราชกิจจานุเบกษา), Ministry of Public Health ministerial orders, and FDA Thailand (อย.) regulatory databases. We read these in the original Thai text, not translations
- Peer-reviewed medical literature — Published studies on cannabis pharmacology, CBD efficacy, and traditional Thai medicine (TTM) protocols, sourced primarily from PubMed and Thai medical journals
- Licensed practitioner input — Direct conversations with physicians, TTM practitioners, and pharmacists who prescribe or dispense cannabis in Thailand
- Regulatory filings — Cannabis business registration data from the Department of Business Development, FDA licensing records, and GACP certification databases
What We Will Not Publish
We do not publish anecdotal health claims, unverified dosage recommendations, or legal interpretations that we cannot trace back to an official regulatory text. If we cannot verify a claim, we either omit it or flag it explicitly as unconfirmed.
Medical Review Process
Every article containing health information is reviewed by a licensed healthcare practitioner before publication. Our medical reviewers hold current Thai medical or traditional medicine licenses. Each reviewed page displays the reviewer's full name, credentials, and the date of their most recent review.
The reviewer checks for clinical accuracy, appropriate safety warnings, and correct references to Thailand's PT 33 prescription system. They have authority to block publication of any content they consider misleading or clinically unsound.
Legal Verification
Our legal content is verified against the original Thai-language regulatory text — not summaries or news reports about that text. Each legal guide displays a "Last verified" date showing when the information was last confirmed against the current version of the applicable ministerial order or Royal Gazette announcement.
Update Schedule
We monitor Thai regulatory announcements daily. Our specific commitments:
- Legal pages — Updated within 48 hours of any published regulatory change
- Clinic and dispensary directories — Verified monthly against FDA Thailand licensing records
- Medical guides — Reviewed quarterly by our medical review team, or immediately when relevant new research is published
- CBD product guides — Reviewed quarterly for regulatory compliance and product availability
- Strain database — Updated as new cultivars become available through licensed dispensaries
Every page on the site displays its last-updated date. If a page has not been updated in more than 90 days, we flag it for priority review.
Editorial Independence
No clinic, dispensary, or cannabis brand pays us for editorial coverage. Our content decisions are made by our editorial team based on what our readers actually need to know. When we recommend a clinic or product, that recommendation comes from our own assessment — not a commercial arrangement.
We fund operations through display advertising and may introduce clearly labeled affiliate relationships or sponsored listings in the future. Commercial content will always be marked as such and will be kept separate from editorial recommendations.
Corrections Policy
If you find a factual error, contact us. We investigate every report and correct confirmed errors within 24 hours. For significant corrections — anything that changes the practical meaning of an article — we add a dated correction notice at the top of the page explaining what changed and why.
