Why trust us

Accurate cannabis information matters

Wrong information can cost you money, time, or worse — legal trouble. We built Cannabis for Thailand because a truly trustworthy resource didn't exist yet.

When Thailand decriminalized cannabis in 2022, the information landscape was mostly rumors, outdated social media posts, and shop websites selling their own products. There was no independent resource bringing together law, clinics, dispensaries, and practical guides in one place. So we built one.

Every medical article is reviewed by licensed practitioners. Legal information is verified against Royal Gazette decrees. Every clinic and dispensary listing is manually verified — not auto-scraped. When laws change, we update within days, not months.

About Us

Thailand's Independent Medical Cannabis Resource

Cannabis for Thailand exists because reliable information was impossible to find. When Thailand restricted cannabis to medical use in June 2025, the information gap grew wider. Rumors spread on social media. Dispensary websites pushed sales over facts. We built this site to fill that gap with verified, current information that serves patients and visitors first.

Our team verifies every clinic and dispensary listing against government records. We cross-reference legal updates with Royal Gazette publications. We track the 11,136 licensed dispensaries that remain operational. Every guide on this site reflects the law as it stands today, not as it stood last year.

We cover the PT 33 prescription system, qualifying medical conditions, CBD products and legal thresholds, cannabis business licensing, strain profiles available in Thailand, and city guides for Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, Koh Samui, and beyond. All content is published in both Thai and English.

Patients looking for a prescription, tourists sorting out the rules, residents exploring CBD, business owners navigating compliance: we verify the facts so you can make informed decisions.
