Chocolate Thai is a legendary landrace sativa that traces its roots back to the highlands of Thailand. Popular during the 1960s and 1970s among travelers and connoisseurs, this strain earned its name from its distinctive dark brown coloring and rich, chocolate-like undertones in its flavor. It is considered one of the parent strains that helped shape many modern cannabis hybrids.

Chocolate Thai is an old Thai landrace, and true-to-type seed is now hard to find. Flower sold under the name may be a heritage line or simply a local sativa with a borrowed label.
