Khon Kaen Weed & Cannabis Shops 2026 — Lang Mor, City Centre & PT 33 Rules

Khon Kaen is the unofficial capital of Isan, northeastern Thailand’s vast agricultural plateau, and the region’s most important university city. Home to Khon Kaen University (KKU) and a metropolitan population around 400,000, the city functions as the commercial, medical, and transport hub for the upper northeast. It is not a tourist town in the conventional sense: there are no beaches, no full-moon parties, no backpacker strips.

As of March 2026, Khon Kaen has 50 cannabis dispensaries, 2 cannabis farms, and 3 medical cannabis clinics: a total of 55 listings.

How buying cannabis in Khon Kaen works now

Since 26 June 2025 cannabis flower has been a “controlled herb” under the Thai Traditional Medicine Act. A shop may sell it only to someone holding a PT 33 prescription from an authorised practitioner (a doctor, a Thai traditional medicine practitioner or another prescriber certified by the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine). The prescription is valid for up to 30 days, a licensed outlet can sell up to a 30-day supply, and since January 2026 it must keep a DTAM-trained staff member on site whenever it is open.

In our listings, Khon Kaen Hospital Cannabis Clinic on Si Chan Road is the main clinic option. The PT 33 prescription guide explains the process. The listings on this page come from public map data, and being listed does not mean a shop is licensed. A compliant shop will ask for your prescription before it sells.

The late closing time at 3 AM makes them a solid option for the university nightlife crowd.

Area Breakdown

Lang Mor / Behind KKU (Sila District)

The university backstreet area, known locally as Lang Mor, is Khon Kaen’s cannabis epicenter. Within a few blocks you will find Khonkaen Weed, Enrich Dispensary, Say High, KKC Cannabis Shop, One Love 420 Store, INT&WEED, and Boss&Pan Smokker Weed. This district is liveliest after dark, with most shops open until midnight or later. If you only visit one area, make it this one.

Nai Mueang (Inner City)

The central business district around Na Mueang Road and Sri Chan Road has a solid cluster of dispensaries. Cannabis Corner, Monster Plant Dispensary (19 reviews, 4.8 stars), Cannabuzz (15 reviews, 5 stars), BestBudz.th (4 reviews, 5 stars), and Slow High Cannabis Store (11 reviews, 5 stars) all operate in this area. The Nai Mueang district is walkable and close to the city’s hotels and shopping malls.

Ban Pet District

West of the city center, Ban Pet is a mixed residential and commercial zone. Hybrid Store runs 24 hours here, and EsTeeM Club YABAi (7 reviews, 5 stars) on Sri Chan Road offers a collector-oriented experience with curated strains.

Mittraphap Highway Corridor

The main northeast highway running through Khon Kaen connects Bangkok to Nong Khai (Laos border). Dispensaries along this corridor, including Cannabis Shop (Mary Jane), Spedduck, and WeedStation Khonkaen (10 reviews, 5 stars), are convenient for road-trippers passing through.

Bueng Kaen Nakhon / Mueang Kao (Old City)

The scenic area around Bueng Kaen Nakhon lake in the south of the city is where you will find Cannabis House and KLONGSAY Cannabis Shop (5 stars). The lakeside is Khon Kaen’s most pleasant area for an evening walk, and combining a dispensary visit with a lakeside stroll is a natural pairing.

Outer Districts

Several dispensaries serve the wider Khon Kaen province. Pheuan Kan in Phra Lap (54 reviews, 5 stars) covers the eastern outskirts. FHC Cannabis Store in Ban Phai and The Galaxy Weed in Tha Phra serve the southern and southwestern districts respectively.

Cannabis Farms in Khon Kaen

Khon Kaen has two cannabis farms, both reflecting the Isan agricultural tradition applied to cannabis cultivation.

ThaiPearl Farm operates in the Ban Wa area west of the city. As an outdoor cultivation operation, the farm takes advantage of Isan’s hot climate and rich soil. Contact them at [email protected] for availability and access.

420 Care is centrally located on Thepharak Alley in Nai Mueang, unusually close to the city center for a farm operation. Described as a medical cannabis store with cultivation, it bridges the gap between farm and retail. The Mueang Khon Kaen District location makes it the most accessible farm option in the city.
