Udon Thani Weed & Cannabis Shops 2026 — City Centre, Nong Bua & PT 33 Rules

Udon Thani has more cannabis shops than most tourist towns: our directory lists 52 across the province, drawn from public map data, along with one hospital clinic and five farms. Most are in the city itself. The buying rules are national. Since 26 June 2025 cannabis flower has been a “controlled herb” under the Thai Traditional Medicine Act, and shops may sell it only to someone holding a PT 33 prescription from an authorised practitioner.

A listing is not proof of a licence. A shop that follows the law will ask to see your prescription.

How buying cannabis in Udon Thani works

1. Consult an authorised practitioner. In our listings, Udon Thani Hospital on Pho Niyom Road is the clinic option. Call first to check when its cannabis clinic runs.
2. Get the PT 33 if they prescribe. It sets product, dose and duration, is valid for up to 30 days and needs ID (passport for foreigners).
3. Buy only within it. Licensed outlets can sell up to 30 days’ supply and, since January 2026, must have a DTAM-trained staff member on site whenever they are open.

The PT 33 prescription guide covers who can prescribe.
