Ayutthaya Weed & Cannabis Shops 2026 — Island City, Bang Pa-in & PT 33 Rules

Ayutthaya, an hour north of Bangkok, has more cannabis shops than its size suggests: our directory lists 39 in the province, from public map data, plus three farms. They are split between the historic island city and the industrial districts to the south around Bang Pa-in. Since 26 June 2025 cannabis flower has been a “controlled herb” under the Thai Traditional Medicine Act, and a shop may sell it only to someone with a PT 33 prescription from an authorised practitioner.

A listing is not proof of a licence. A compliant shop will ask for your prescription first.

How buying cannabis in Ayutthaya works

1. Consult an authorised practitioner. We do not yet list a cannabis clinic in Ayutthaya province. The nearest in our directory are BudlabKT in Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani, Singburi Hospital to the north, and the Bangkok clinics on our Bangkok page.
2. Get the PT 33 if they prescribe. It sets product, dose and duration and is valid for up to 30 days.
3. Buy only within it. Licensed outlets can sell up to 30 days’ supply and must have a DTAM-trained staff member on site whenever they are open.

See the PT 33 prescription guide for who can prescribe.
