Surat Thani Weed & Cannabis Shops 2026 — Town Centre, Phunphin, Don Sak & PT 33 Rules

Most travellers pass through Surat Thani on the way to Koh Samui, Koh Phangan or Koh Tao, but the province has a sizeable cannabis scene of its own. Our directory lists 54 shops on the mainland side, from public map data, along with a hospital clinic and six farms. The law is national: since 26 June 2025 cannabis flower has been a “controlled herb” under the Thai Traditional Medicine Act, and a shop may sell it only against a PT 33 prescription from an authorised practitioner.

For island-bound visitors this matters, because none of the three islands has a cannabis clinic in our listings. Surat Thani is the practical place to get assessed.

How buying cannabis in Surat Thani works

1. Consult an authorised practitioner. Surat Thani Hospital on Si Wichai Road is the clinic in our listings. Call ahead for its cannabis clinic days.
2. Get the PT 33 if they prescribe. It sets product, dose and duration, is valid for up to 30 days and needs your passport.
3. Buy only within it. Licensed outlets can sell up to 30 days’ supply and must have a DTAM-trained staff member on site whenever they are open.

The PT 33 prescription guide explains who can prescribe. A listing is not proof of a licence, so expect a compliant shop to ask for your prescription.
